![]() ![]() Turns do get slow towards end game in Civ V, but I dont think that is a graphics issue. Star Wars: The Old Republic (mid settings)Įdit: I used to play WoW at mid settings. It will play most games out now at low settings (first person shooters will be a struggle mind). This means however that it is roughly equal to a 2010 discreet entry level GPU. The other key thing about the Intel HD 3000 is it has turbo boost and operates at a much higher clock than other GPUs. Processor Intel Core i5 2540M / 2.6 GHz ( 3.3 GHz ) / 3 MB Cache Memory 4 GB DDR3 Storage 320 GB HDD / 7200 rpm Optical Drive DVD SuperMulti DL Display 14' LED backlight HD anti-glare 1366 x 768 / HD Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 Networking 802.11n, Bluetooth 2. It is the first graphics solution to be directly placed on to the CPU, and is allowed to use the same memory caches as the CPU. The Intel HD 3000 is suprisingly good considering what previously came from Intel. Higher res will require low settings.Īccording to FRAPS in Civ V with everything set to mid I get a steady 25 - 30 FPS. I can understand your position as an Intel representative but I think you'll agree with me that Intel's behaviour was all but unclear in managing this situation.Civ V runs fine on the Intel HD 3000 at mid settings 1366x786. Now you tell us "Sorry guys, there's no way to get HD 2000/3000 working with Windows 10". ![]() ![]() If you publish a beta driver for my Intel card, what am I supposed to think about the future compatibility of my system hardware with the new OS? On its site Intel published a link to a mysterious beta driver available ALSO for HD 2000/3000 that webpage was available to public several days after the release of Windows 10 (I checked it before my system upgrading the same way I checked AMD site for the new driver for my graphic card).Microsoft told us "Everything's ok in upgrading your system" by the horrible GWX10 app (Microsoft's fault). The table you referenced in many post of yours should have been published a long before the date of Windows 10 release, so that users with "not so young" pc/notebook could have been advised of potential risks in upgrading their systems. I'm sorry but Intel's behaviour seems to me at least unfair on customers. ![]()
